In John 7:1-39, we encounter Jesus at a pivotal moment where confusion swirls around his identity. The pressure mounts for him to perform, to build his brand, to make a public spectacle of himself during the Feast of Booths. Yet Jesus refuses to be hurried or pushed by human expectations. This teaches us something profound about living in God's timing rather than the world's urgency.
