The Gospel: The Power to Challenge Satan and Transform lives

Basic   -

The devil is such a nasty character that if a person embodied his traits, they would be universally disliked.

Yet the devil is active in this world, seeking to keep people in spiritual darkness and ignorance. And sharing the message of Jesus both challenges his power and offers real hope, liberation, and eternal life to whoever believes.

If you don’t really know about him, Satan opposes God’s glory and seeks his own, like a conniving villain twirling his mustache, plotting against the forces of good. He tries to control people’s lives by keeping them in spiritual darkness and ignorance.

Yet, by sharing about Jesus and declaring God’s Word, we bring glory to God and invite others into a relationship with Him. In doing so, we challenge Satan’s dominion, expose his lies, and undermine his power and influence.

Remember, Satan is the father of lies, actively spreading false teachings about God. He will do whatever it takes to prevent people from experiencing the freedom, redemption, and transformative power of God’s grace. But as believers, we have the incredible privilege of giving voice to the gospel, shining a light on God’s faithfulness, love, and mercy. By doing so, we offer liberation, forgiveness, and the promise of eternal life with God through faith in Jesus Christ.

I want to encourage you, fellow believers, to remain steadfast in God’s mission. Despite Satan’s hostility, continue to care for others and boldly proclaim the good news. It’s labeled hatred but it is love, love for God in Christ, and a desire for others to know Him as well.

If you find yourself reading these words today as someone who doesn’t yet know Jesus, you may recognize there is a force beyond culture that seems to keep you in spiritual darkness, preventing you from experiencing the life-transforming power of God’s grace.

Yet in Jesus Christ, you can find true freedom and a new life filled with hope. When a Christian friend shares Jesus with you, she is not offering empty words or religious jargon. She is pointing you toward a loving and faithful God who desires to have a personal relationship with you where you are completely forgiven, fully known, and perfectly loved.

While the enemy seeks to maintain his dominion over your life, by trusting in Jesus, you can experience a new relationship with God and a radical transformation that guarantees you a fresh start and doesn’t depend on you being faithful or strong but depends on God’s goodness and grace in Christ.

We invite you to explore the claims of Jesus and to seek His truth with an open heart. He loves you more than you can imagine, and His grace is available to all who trust in Him.

Whether you are a believer or still on the fence, it is the truth of God’s offer of forgiveness and eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that brings the opportunity for a deep and meaningful relationship with our Creator. Despite the challenges and opposition we may face, let us continue to share the good news, knowing that through it, God’s glory is revealed, lives are changed, and the influence of the enemy is diminished.
